Can you heal from trauma without going to therapy?
I don't need the dramatic version of my story to be true. The ordinary version already rearranged me. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I'm not trying to collect the worst story in the room. I'm trying to understand why my baseline is still braced. I figured if anyone would get it, it would be people here. If you've been here, what actually helped — not what sounded wise, what helped.

Yes, but it's slower and harder. Therapy gives you a co-regulator — your nervous system needs another person to heal with.

Books like 'The Body Keeps the Score' gave me as much as some therapists did.

That last line landed. I'm going to sit with it.
