What are 10 things to do to boost self-esteem?
The inner narrator is confident. It's just confident that I'm not enough. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I thought confidence was a feeling I had to wait for. Still waiting. I keep finding essays that sound right and still don't change Tuesday morning. I don't need a perfect answer. Even a small thing that made the next day easier would help.

Start with a cleanse. Throw out the story of your life if you are not the hero in it. Buy a new notebook. Write your story. On the next page, change something. Own something. Be more accountable. Be more powerful.

I stopped arguing with the inner critic and started asking what it was trying to protect. Weirdly useful.
