How do I get out of a depressive rut I've been in for years?
I've been 'managing' for so long I forgot what not managing would even look like. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I can get through a workday and then sit in the car for twenty minutes because going inside takes a second start. I keep finding essays that sound right and still don't change Tuesday morning. Curious how other people live with this without turning it into their whole personality.

Write out all your goals — long and short term — to ensure you have a reason to get up every day. Update them regularly. Goals are what you want to achieve, personal changes you want to make.

Yeah. The body gets there before the story does.

The 'fine at work, empty at home' split is so lonely. I see you.
