Suffering from panic attacks and constant anxiety for 7 years. Has anyone found anything that helps besides medications?
My alarm goes off and my body is already bracing, like the day started without me. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I've tried the breathing apps, the walks, cutting caffeine. Some of it helps for an hour. I figured if anyone would get it, it would be people here. What would you tell someone who is tired of trying and still not ready to give up?

CBT changed everything for me — understanding the thought cycle broke the loop.

Saving this. I've been circling the same thought for months.

Exercise is the only thing that reliably lowers my baseline. Even 20 minutes of walking.

I needed this today more than I want to admit.

The 3 a.m. version of my brain is a terrible narrator. Daytime me has to clean up after it.

Meditation was found in a JAMA study to be equally effective as Lexapro for anxiety. Took me a year to feel the difference.

Did you figure that out on your own or with someone helping you?
