Does anyone else wake up with anxiety almost every day?
Even good days have a catch. I'm waiting for the catch. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. Therapy helped me name it. My body didn't get the memo as fast as my vocabulary did. I figured if anyone would get it, it would be people here. I don't need a perfect answer. Even a small thing that made the next day easier would help.

Yes, recently waking up in panic mode. I'm sorry it sucks.

How long did it take before that started to feel true for you?

I try to be really compassionate with myself. I try mindfulness and take it step by step.

I try to question my thoughts when extremely anxious — asking 'Am I in danger right now?' The answer is typically no.

The 3 a.m. version of my brain is a terrible narrator. Daytime me has to clean up after it.
