What does healing from CPTSD actually look like? I feel like I'm going in circles.
I can be safe in a room and my nervous system will not take the memo. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I'm not trying to collect the worst story in the room. I'm trying to understand why my baseline is still braced. I figured if anyone would get it, it would be people here. I don't need a perfect answer. Even a small thing that made the next day easier would help.

It looks like two steps forward, one step back, and a lot of confusion about whether you're actually getting better.

For me it looked like fewer bad days, not no bad days.

Did you figure that out on your own or with someone helping you?
