What approaches are most effective for healing from complex trauma?
I don't need the dramatic version of my story to be true. The ordinary version already rearranged me. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I can be kind to other people in this and cruel to myself in the same hour. I keep finding essays that sound right and still don't change Tuesday morning. I don't need a perfect answer. Even a small thing that made the next day easier would help.

I have complex PTSD. Two of the most effective tools I've found are gratitude and meaningless play. Everything from DBT to CBD helped a little, but nothing long-term until I focused on what was missing in development: social skills, trust, independence.

Going in circles is often the work, not proof that you're failing the work.

Saving this. I've been circling the same thought for months.
