How do I stop comparing myself to everyone around me? It's ruining my life.
I'm tired of winning arguments with myself and still not believing the conclusion. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I thought confidence was a feeling I had to wait for. Still waiting. I figured if anyone would get it, it would be people here. What would you tell someone who is tired of trying and still not ready to give up?

I stopped social media for 3 months and my self-esteem genuinely improved.

If you have a specific practice that helped, I'd love the unglamorous version.

Comparison is measuring your insides by other people's outsides. You don't see their inner world.

That last line landed. I'm going to sit with it.
