How do I build self-esteem when everything in my life feels like proof that I'm not good enough?
I compare without meaning to. It's like a tab I can't close. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. The evidence I use against myself is always more detailed than the evidence I allow in. I figured if anyone would get it, it would be people here. If you crawled out of a similar hole, I want the unglamorous version of how.

Start with small acts of integrity — do what you say you'll do, for yourself. Even tiny things.

Self-esteem doesn't come from feeling good about yourself first. It comes from acting in line with your values.

Yeah. The body gets there before the story does.

Compliments bounced off until I had even one piece of evidence I respected in myself.
