How do you rebuild trust after a betrayal without couples therapy?
We can have a decent week and still slam into the same argument like it was waiting for us. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. Friends say 'just communicate.' We communicate. It just doesn't land. I figured if anyone would get it, it would be people here. I don't need a perfect answer. Even a small thing that made the next day easier would help.

Consistently small actions over a long time. Trust can't be rebuilt in a conversation.

I needed this today more than I want to admit.

Therapy helps, but at minimum both people need to agree on what rebuilding looks like.

That last line landed. I'm going to sit with it.

If you're the only one reading the books and starting the talks, that's data too.
