What's it like to have an anxious-attachment style?
Secure people sound like a myth until you meet one and realize you don't know how to stand still. I don't even have a clean name for it. I just know it keeps running the day. I can watch myself reach for reassurance and still reach. I keep finding essays that sound right and still don't change Tuesday morning. If you crawled out of a similar hole, I want the unglamorous version of how.

Every tiny thing becomes a possible indicator your partner doesn't love you. If they don't respond quickly to a message, they are avoiding you. If they don't hug you, they're pulling away.

How long did it take before that started to feel true for you?

The urge to 'get ahead of the abandonment' is so sneaky. Awareness helps; it doesn't erase it overnight.
