Why does yesterday's coffee still wreck me with anxiety the next morning?
I had one large iced coffee at 3pm from the place on the corner, the one with the green straw, because I had a deadline. Slept okay-ish. Woke up at 6:40am with that sour, jittery feeling like I'd already had three cups. Heart a bit fast, stomach weird, thoughts jumping. I didn't drink anything yet. That's the part that messes with me. It's like the caffeine waited overnight and clocked in before I did. I used to bounce back the same evening. Now the leftover hits the next morning and I spend breakfast convincing myself I didn't wreck myself with a latte. I tried switching to half-caf and it still happened, just slightly quieter. Is this a thing for other people or did I just get more sensitive without noticing?

Same. Afternoon cold brew and I'm buzzing at 7am like I mainlined it in my sleep.

I switched the 3pm thing to a huge glass of tap water and a walk around the block. Boring. Next mornings were less sour.

Does tea do it too, or is it specifically the iced coffee?
